Bruxism can be caused by taking certain medications including anti depressants. Zoloft, Prozac and Paxil are the worst. If you take any of these medications and suffer from bruxism see your doctor as there is another drug called Buspar which if taken alongside the other medication may help to relieve the problem.

Bruxism is a sleep disorder that causes the sufferer to grind their teeth when they are asleep. A majority of sufferers tend to have an anxious and tense nature which causes them to clench their jaws, but it can also result from a physical problem such as dental malocclusion. (more…)
